Erin was raised in Ukraine and moved to Chicago in 1992. Her whole life she was in search for truth. Since her early childhood, she remembers wondering who she really was, where she was while asleep, or what made her breathe . . . Erin tried to find the answers in religious literature, churches, priests…not that she wasn't grateful for what she learned, but her inquiring mind kept asking, and her heart kept telling her to keep searching. In 2007, she realized that she had exhausted everything in her power to find the truth and that she was running in circles. She fell on her knees and prayed to find the true teacher. One night, flipping through TV channels, she discovered Gangaji on the Public Access TV. She was going to keep flipping but she didn't. She froze, watching and listening. Gangaji's words were alive and resonated with Erin's heart. She knew that Gangaji was the answer to her prayers. Her words opened the floodgates of self-recognition; they led Erin to the direct experience of Reality-revelation that gave her an understanding beyond doubt. Her spiritual search stopped. She met with Gangaji in person at several retreats and found them each to be a profound experience that offered great support.

However, despite the awakening she was experiencing, her ego didn't seem dissolve, and as such her awakening became a process. Be vigilant, be open, and wait and see - that is what Gangaji told her, and that became Erin's credo.

Erin was inspired by reading Eckhart Tolle and Adyshanti, who resonated with her heart, confirming her experiences and understanding. Later she discovered A Course in Miracles-a book in which every word is alive and speaks to the reader. Although it uses traditional Christian terms, it speaks in nontraditional, nonreligious ways. One night Erin had a dream. The settings and events in the dream were so vivid, that when she awoke, she was ready to act on the dream. It took her time to realize that it was a dream and with that, a sudden and clear understanding came over her. Our life is a dream. Our losses and our gains, our problems and our successes-our entire life stories are a dream. This was her realization. Nothing lasting lies in dreams, and the Holly Spirit, shining with the light from God Himself, speaks only of what lasts forever-A Course in Miracles teaches.
